Made of high carbon spring steel, the tool shank gives just enough to follow the contour of carving, eliminating the need to have a handful of traditional tools to finish a single profile. This unique material also contributes to its excellent edge holding capability as the shank is tempered like a spring while the tip is hardened to Rc 59-61, then hand honed and polished. The handles are ergonomically designed to increase the comfort and ease of use. Each tool is pre-sharpened and ready to use. Made from the same resilient spring steel as Flexcut’s palm tools, these carver’s drawknife flex in either direction to do round or hollow work. Hand honed and polished to a razor edge, this tool is perfectly suited for rough and delicate shaping. Fitted with ash handles.
